February 2025 with Europe House
05. March 2025.
#EU4BiHDuring February, our activities focused on the #EUzaBiH campaign, through which we highlight the importance of the European Union’s financial support and the results of projects and initiatives. We published several calls for project ideas through an open call for projects for the construction and reconstruction of homes destroyed or damaged in the 2024 floods, a call for funding ideas within the Erasmus+ program for youth capacity building, strengthening cooperation in the field of media literacy and cross-border cooperation within the Creative Europe program, and traveling and exhibiting works by young artists from the Adriatic-Ionian region to contribute to the nomadic art exhibition “Living Without Leaving”. We supported the organisation of the ceremonial presentation of donations collected through the Diplomatic Winter Bazaar, the largest annual diplomatic bazaar, through which 275,000 KM was collected and presented to 27 organisations working with vulnerable children from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina. On the occasion of the third anniversary of the start of the war in Ukraine, the Lost Childhood exhibition was presented at Europe House, highlighting the horrors of the Russian invasion and paying tribute to the children who lost their lives during the war. In order to strengthen cooperation with the member states of the European Union, our online campaign ClosEUp, which features interesting facts about the member states, presented the cultural and natural resources of Lithuania and Estonia through a new design and approach. |
