Europe House activities in June 2024 began with a celebration of culture and art through #EuropeForCulture events. The third edition of Sarajevo Photography Festival brought an opportunity for the presentation and networking of artists from all over the world, and numerous exhibitions, workshops and talks by artists were presented in the premises of Europe House. In cooperation with the City Administration of Banja Luka, we supported the organisation of the TrotoArt festival, which provided the citizens of Banja Luka with numerous engaging cultural performances.
As part of our #EUzaBiH activities, two editions of the EU Periscope series were broadcast on Radio Sarajevo, which presented successful examples of cooperation with the Museum of Contemporary Art in Banja Luka through the Creative Europe program, as well as EU investments in the revitalisation of Brčko Port. Also, three further success stories were published through EU Periscope (soon to be broadcast as radio stories) about the promotion of the cultural heritage of BiH through digitalization, with the support of Creative Europe, the opening of the first Centre for Energy Transition through the EU4Energy project, and a story about the results of the Erasmus+ program.
Two editions of the horizontal campaign of the E2U video series about the activities of the Bosnian National Theater in Zenica as well as EU support for the establishment of the Energy Transition Centre were also published. There were three editions of the infographic Did you know?/Apply! which presented the launch of the EU Digital Europe program in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the achievements of the EU4Energy project and a call for proposals within Youth4Regions for young journalists.
Through two editions of the My EU Story series, we presented the Game Changers project, which supports inclusion through sport and support for the development of the first BiH electric charger for cars through the EU4DigitalSMEs project. We also published two editions of the closEUp campaign with a focus on the European Union member states Luxembourg and Hungary.
Through the activities of #OurPlanetOurFuture and with the aim of promoting the European Union’s environmental protection policies, we published four editions of our Ecopedia educational infographics focusing on World Bicycle Day, European Green Week, World Environment Day and World Sustainable Gastronomy Day.
