EU Info Centre (EUIC) in BiH will promote Photomonography of Bosnia and Herzegovina under the title “Come, see, tell more – Bosnia and Herzegovina – 30 unforgettable destinations” by Amel Salihbašić. Book reviewer Tim Clancy expert in eco-tourism and the environment will present some excerpts from the book. In addition to the promotion of the book photo exhibition of BiH’s natural beauty by renowned photographer Munevera Salihovic will be presented as well.

The event will take place on Thursday, August 21 2014 at the EU Info Centre in the building of the European Union Delegation in BiH (Skenderija 3a) in Sarajevo, at 16:00.

Amel Salihbašić started doing photography through his many travels. Due to his fascination with the beauty of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the desire that the others learn more about BiH brighter side Amel have decided to publish this book. Munever Salihovic- discovered a love for photography at a young age. Among his accomplishments one can find pictures from the everyday life of the common man, traditional Bosnian architecture, cultural – historical monuments, and especially the natural beauty of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

After the 30 minutes official part of the program statements to the media will follow.

The exhibition will be open to the public in the EU Info Centre from 21 August to 1 September, from Monday to Thursday 9:00 to 17:30 pm and Friday 9:00 am to 4:30 pm.

The European Union has  recognized and supported the great tourism potential of Bosnia and Herzegovina for growth and development over the years. Previous financial support for tourism sector in BiH amounts to 5 million euros and was awarded as part of the overall EU support for economic development in Bosnia and Herzegovina under the different programs. Further support for the European Union in the tourism sector is expected in the future.
