„My Travel Through Europe“
A competition for all young tourists

The right to participate in the competition have young people from Bosnia and Herzegovina that until 30 September 2015 send photos and a short travel report about their trip EU countries to the email address info@EUIC.ba

RULES FOR SUBMISSION AND PARTICIPATION IN COMPETITION ‘’MY TRAVEL THROUGH EUROPE”

  1. Eligible to participate in the competition “My Travel Through Europe” are citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina aged 16 to 27 years (born between 01.07.1988 to 30.06.1999)
  2. A participant should by 30 September 2015 send a short travel story and photos from the trip that describe the really interesting aspects of their travel to the country / countries of the European Union, promoting the values of the European Union and the advantages of traveling and learning about different cultures and people. Only works describing a trip that happened in the period from 2012 to 2015 are eligible.
  3. Travel reports should be original works, written in one of the official BiH languages, length 300-1000 words and submitted in MS Word or similar applications;
  4. Report must be accompanied by 5 to 10 high-quality photographs taken during the trip described in the article. Photos should be a minimum resolution of 800×600 pxl;
  5. Only works that have not been previously published and have not participated in previous competitions organized by the EU Info Centre can be submitted in this competition;
  6. After 30 September EUIC / EUD committee will select 12 finalists. Selection criteria will be writing style and creativity of the text. Stories and photos of finalists will be announced through the Facebook page and the website of the EU Info Centre. Public scoring will be organized in October 2015, when the votes of all citizens who want to vote will choose the best works. Finalists found to be using any form of manipulation during the voting process will be disqualified;
  7. Prizes will be awarded to three works with most votes. Authors of those three works will have the opportunity to choose their prizes from the following items: laptop, smart phone, tablet, TV or a digital camera, all worth more than 500 KM. After the completion of the voting process EU Info Centre will offer the winners the choice of specific items;
  8. One person can only submit one work;
  9. Applications with text and photographs should be sent by electronic mail to the email address info@euic.ba, stating the title “My Travel Through Europe – Name and Surname of the participant” no later than 30 September 2015. Works received after this date will not be taken into account;
  10. Applications must include the author’s full name, date of birth, address and telephone number;
  11. All entries automatically become the property of the EU Info Centre; By entering the competition, participants guarantee:
    1. that the text and images are their original work (accepting the option that companions or other persons described in the journey made photos);
    2. that all personal information is correct;
    3. that the participant in the competition accepts all the rules listed here.
