The EU Info Centre in BiH is pleased to invite you to the photo exhibition ‘EU Floods Recovery Programme’ which will take place in its premises at Skenderija 3a, Sarajevo, on Thursday, 27 August 2015 at 17:30 hrs.

The exhibition is organised on the occasion of the Humanitarian Aid month within the European Year for Development, and to symbolically mark the World Humanitarian Day – 19 August.  The exhibition presents photos illustrating the work and impact of the EU Floods Recovery Programme in BiH.

The exhibition will be opened by the Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the EU Delegation to BiH, Dr. Renzo Daviddi. A brief presentation by the UNDP Programme Manager of the EU Floods Recovery Programme, Mr. Edis Arifagić, will follow.

The exhibition also marks the first anniversary of the launch of the EU Floods Recovery Programme in BiH, which has provided significant assistance to flood-affected communities across BiH since August 2014 and brought about a concrete and visible impact to peoples’ lives.

The value of the Programme is 43.52 million EUR, out of which 42.24 million EUR is provided by the European Union. The Programme is implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in cooperation with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and the International Organisation for Migration (IOM).
