Nurkovic and Shurlan awarded for the best journalist stories on BiH’s EU accession process

Anel Nurković, editor of the show Euroimpuls on BHT1 and Svjetlana Šurlan, deputy chief and editor-in-chief of the Capital.ba portal, are the winners of the award for the best journalistic story about the process of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s accession to the European Union for 2021, which was organized by the Directorate for European Integration on the occasion of May 9 – Europe Day in cooperation with the Association of Journalists of BiH and with the support of Sweden.

Anel Nurković won the most points of the Evaluation Committee in the category of the best TV, video or radio journalistic article, and Svjetlana Šurlan in the category of best written journalistic text. The awarded works speak of EU financial assistance, ie the experiences of domestic ones businessmen in the use of IPA II and the changes implied by the new IPA III.

The Journalist Award for the best journalistic story about the process of BiH’s accession to the EU is awarded for the second year in a row, and this year ‘s best journalistic stories were selected in competition of 19 submitted works.
